Homes under construction

Copperleaf has a limited number of homes that are already under construction. For these homes, you may purchase at either of two stages. First, you may purchase while the home is under construction. This allows you to be involved in certain selections, and the earlier your involvement, the more selections you will be able to make. Second, you may purchase a home after it has been completed.

Custom homes

If you choose, you may contract Copperleaf to build a custom home. We can build on a lot we already own or on one of your choosing. In creating your custom home, we will work with you on the design and build process from start to finish. You will be involved in every aspect of the home you are purchasing.

Executive access

When you choose Copperleaf, you will work directly with our President and CEO, Arthur Allison, as well as our Vice President and Operations Manager, Joshua Fenhaus. Together, Arthur and Joshua are responsible for all areas of design, construction and administration. Their expertise and depth of experience managing large projects allows Copperleaf to achieve our mission and goal of complete customer satisfaction. We understand that creating homes of the highest caliber entails great effort and is an accomplishment that is ultimately shared by Copperleaf and by you, the owner.


Initially, we will meet with you to learn and understand your individual situation. We will explore a range of topics, including finance options, budgets, site location options, style of home, size of lot and home, views and waterfront options, schools districts, access to community offerings, time considerations, and your desired level of commitment. We will begin a very specific dialog on architectural design, the construction contract, construction phases and timelines, financing options and timelines, details of construction processes, and warranties.

Copperleaf works with a select list of first-class designers, vendors, and sub-contractors. Each is expert in their field and is closely managed by us from beginning to end.


These are the phases of development that each home passes through:

Lot preparation, foundation forms/fill/plumbing/grade/steel/concrete, framing, plumbing/mechanical and electrical in wall rough-ins, drywall, trim/cabinets, paint, tile/hardwoods/counter tops/backsplashes/fireplaces surrounds, plumbing/electrical fixtures, heating and air conditioning, outdoor grilles, mirrors, shower doors, landscaping, carpet. Finally, completion of any punch list items.


Once we have completed your home, and our joint expectations have been met and exceeded, we warranty the work and craftsmanship. We reference in this website the Aces Builders Warranty.
